Kerri Noto - Tejas Yoga Chicago

Kerri has been turning to yoga for grounding, insight and healing for over 10 years. She sees every moment as her teacher, but her practice is rooted in her longtime work with Tias Little, Rod Stryker, Jim Bennitt, and her meditation cushion. Kerri was certified through Moksha Yoga Center in 2003, and continues to fill her toolbox with insights from a variety of sources including ayurveda, chinese medicine, vipassana meditation, and nutrition.

Her classes encourage the awakening of inner guidance. Each practice includes postures for strength and rejuvenation, as well as a deeper thread of meditation, intention work, and exploration of the subtle through the breath.

She is grateful to the practice and her teachers for helping her to get quiet enough to notice the sacred within, and in all experience. She loves that no matter what brings us to yoga, yoga brings us closer to our highest good. Kerri recently returned from a 6-month nationwide health and wellness tour. She also spent 7 years in advertising and filmmaking, and holds a B.A. in Economics and French from Middlebury College in Vermont.
