About Foundational

After the Introduction to Yoga Series, you will continue to lay the groundwork for your asana practice. You will become more familiar with your own limitations and strengths. Through repetition of the basic poses, you will be able to build more complex poses. This class prepares you for deeper physical and mental work by spending additional time on standing postures, backbends, and prep work for inversions and arm balances. Emphasis is also placed on breath awareness and focusing of the mind. This class is appropriate for those who already know the basics of yoga or the more experienced student who wishes to refine his or her practice.
