What is a deer census, you might ask?
Join neighbors and fellow guests for one of the lodge's most beloved local traditions — the annual deer census. Together, you'll help guide the resident deer herd through a designated passage so they can be photographed and counted. It's a little bit wildlife adventure, a little bit community ritual, and a whole lot of fun. All followed by a spectacular brunch!
Please note that this event is subject to nature's own timing — weather and impact of season can occasionally affect whether the census takes place. Should it not occur, we'll gather for a closing yoga practice, ceremony, and a leisurely breakfast to round out the weekend.
