Apprenticeship program

Before you can be a great teacher, you must first be a fully dedicated student.(1).png

Our Apprenticeship Program embodies this principle, allowing those who wish to be teachers to immerse themselves in the practice under individualized guidance from Jim Bennitt and James Tennant. Work closely with passionate teachers who are invested in your development as an aspirant and a teacher.

How is this teacher training different from others?

The Tejas Yoga Apprenticeship Program was developed to give you a more hands-on approach to learning.

Each training is designed to acknowledge where you are starting off presently, thus recognizing your previous trainings and experience. We will hone in on your strengths as well as areas which may need improvement. So consider this a teacher training specifically individualized to you.

Our goal is to give those who seek to teach yoga the best quality instruction though:

  • One-on-one direction

  • More individualized feedback

  • Flexible start time and scheduling

  • Stronger emphasis on personal sadhana (personal practice)
    and spiritual development

  • Considerably more in-class hours than most other teacher trainings

Sign me up!

We’re happy about your enthusiasm. In order to make sure the Apprenticeship Program is a good fit for both parties and that you make as an informed decision as possible we ask that you please fill out an application. Once we receive it, we’ll contact you to set up a consultation.

When can I start?
Each course can begin at any time of the year. We do limit the amount of students within a 12-month period to ensure that we have the necessary time to address the needs of all participants. Therefore, there may be a short waiting period before you can start the program.
