Keom Granger

A lifelong Chicagoan, Keom Granger brings over two decades of experience in yoga and nearly a decade in Pilates to his teaching practice. His movement journey began in college in the early '90s, seeking forms of exercise that were both physically sustainable and mentally grounding. Alongside swimming, yoga offered him a path to emotional well-being and long-term physical health.

Keom was drawn to Pilates as a natural extension of his deep commitment to mind-body practices. His classes are rooted in traditional Pilates, but enriched by a yoga-informed approach that emphasizes equanimity, awareness, and self-compassion. Rather than pushing to exhaustion, Keom encourages students to work with intention—focusing on form, building strength gradually, and knowing when to rest.

He teaches with a grounded presence, always observing the room and tailoring his guidance to the individuals in the space. Whether you’re new to Pilates or building endurance over time, Keom’s classes support growth through consistent, mindful practice.
