The Women's Yoga Circle nurtures the sacred bond between women and creates a powerful avenue for personal growth and self-love. These workshops are intended to facilitate a safe space for honest dialogue and authentic connection.
Discussion is centered around the book Living Your Yoga, Finding the Spiritual in Everyday Life, by Judith Lasater. This July, we’ll use chapter 9, Control, as our guide. We’ll explore Yoga Sutra 1:16, “The superior form of this dispassion is the non-thirsting for the primary-constituents of Nature which results from the vision of the Self.” You do not need to purchase the book to participate.
Each workshop will include discussion, journaling, and a 20-minute meditation. Class will be loosely structured, and we’ll allow our discussion to be free flowing and supportive of what arises. Bring a journal, no experience necessary.
