Not to be confused with "hip opening" postures (which are usually passive stretches), hip mobility exercises consist of both holding passive stretches and going through active movements. This approach will help you to stay strong throughout your entire range of motion and keep your hip joints healthy and functional.
This workshop will begin with a short lecture on the ranges of motion our hip joints are capable of followed by a practice that incorporates a more active way to work with certain yoga poses and an introduction to hip exercises that are not often practiced in most yoga classes. All levels are welcome.
