Transitions and Transformations with Jenni Antonicic

The sense of immanent transformation is everywhere. Transitions can be tricky though. How we turn away from something is at least as important as how we turn towards something else. The things we resist persist. Things we long to "get over" tend to linger, for better or worse, woven into the shape of who we are. With kindness and curiosity, vision, intention and community, we can apply some wise design-input into the beings that we grow into.

- Spend some of the last hours of this tumultuous 2020 on self-care, introspection, joyfulness, and immersed in the companionship of our supportive community.

- Treat your body to some playful movement. Sink into a comfortable position for yoga nidra - a guided relaxation practice that allows you to rest deeply while exploring and harmonizing all the aspects of your personality.

- Feel like you've had the best nap of your life.

- Gain some clarity about things that have been frustrating or confusing. While in this open state of awareness, continue with visualization and writing to help manifest your insights.

- Feel ready to dance with the cosmos deep into the next year.

How to prepare:

Wear your pandemic uniform - loose, most comfortable clothing, remove jewelry. You might also want to arrange your practice space with sacred or inspiring items, soft lighting and a pleasant scent.

Gather together soft and supportive props to rest in yoga nidra - blankets, a thin pillow or towel, a light cloth to cover eyes, perhaps a bolster-like cushion, anything more that feels cozy and comforting. It is nice after finishing nidra to have something pleasant to sip or munch on.

If possible, prepare a warm drink reserved in a thermos, a few bites of something grounding and nourishing like nuts, seeds, dried fruits, etc.

You'll need a piece of paper or stationery, a hard surface to write on, two envelopes and a pen.

Our closing ritual will use three candles and something to light them with.
